I forgot to post my Movember Day 1 photo yesterday, so here it is. I’m going to post a photo every other day, since it’s likely there won’t be much change to my facial hair situation. I am doing everything in my power to reach deep down inside and unleash my inner manliness in order to try to grow a mighty mustache by the end of the month. Movember supports men’s health, with a focus on prostate cancer and mental health. Cancer and mental health have been a big part of the past couple of years for me with my Grandma and my friends, so the issues are very near to my heart. This Movember I am a part of team MOple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, the handsome and manly offspring of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment. Our team consists of a mix of MLSE staff and players/retired players, couches and staff from our teams (Toronto Raptors, Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto FC & Toronto Marlies). Yesterday I went to my 5th Toronto Zombie Walk and managed to find Zombie Amir Johnson of the Toronto Raptors shuffling amongst the undead. He was surprised I was able to pick him out of the crowd and recognize him with all of his makeup on. But I mean, how hard is it to find the one guy towering over everyone else in the crowd? He was kind enough to let this overly smily and strangely soccer momish looking zombie get a photo with him before heading off in search of braaaaiiiins.
